EU attempts to streamline biotech "vision"

Article Abstract:

This article discusses the meeting held in Brussels in September at which representatives of science, business consumers and five departments of the Euro[pean Commission came together to produce a strategic vison for the life scinces and biotechnology in the European Union. The European Commission has promised to produce a vision document by the end of 2001. The Brussels consultation will, it is hoped, influence the final document.
