Air Force lab developing intelligent, predictive computer system

Article Abstract:

The US Air Force Research Laboratory is developing intelligent computer software that is capable of predicting when systems are about to breakdown or need special attention. The technology, called prognosis, uses advanced software to predict conditions, circumstances and faults and it is expected to produce more effective operations and large cost savings.
