Environmentally-friendly fax paper and packaging

Article Abstract:

Constructive Communications recently unveiled environmentally-friendly fax paper and packaging that will be sold by Panasonic. The packaging was paper-based, for both cartons and single rolls, to increase the likelihood of consumer recycling. Inks were selected for minimal or absent volatile organic compound releases, graphics were minimal and the glue used was water-based for better biodegradability. The fax paper itself has recycled content and performed slightly better than new fax paper. To encourage further recycling, the carton doubles as a paper-recycling container.
