Facts about FAX: the Telemarketing Roundup of Facsimile Manufacturers

Article Abstract:

As part of the general trend in office automation, many companies are taking responsibility for transmitting documents from one location to another. Companies are buying facsimile machines to handle this task. Major differences exist in the quality and applicability of facsimile machines. A buyers guide, complete with pictures, is included. Companies represented are Alden Electronics, Burroughs Corp., Kentek Information Systems, NEC America Inc., Panafax Corp., Pitney Bowes, Ricoh Corp., Sanyo, Talos systems, Teleautograph, 3M and Xerox. A primer on facsimile technology is provided.

Effective Telemarketing Implementation for the Wholesale - Distributor

Article Abstract:

The unsuccessful use of the telemarketing by the wholesaler- distributor can be traced to three primary causes; tradition, definition, and perception. Traditionally, outside sales have been the means for selling and there is fear of changing. The definition of telemarketing to many is inside sales. It is, in reality, sales support, not pro-active selling. Finally, the perception of many is that a telemarketing system simply means handing over telephone lists with an order to employees to sell.
