Article Abstract:

A study analyzing the effect of bank governance changes on the productivity and performance of the bank is presented. The study is based on data from commercial banks in South East Asia from 1990 to 2003. Apart from that many of these banks were privatized or restructured. Asia also underwent financial crisis during the said period.
