Article Abstract:

Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. is launching its new Fighting Cock Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey across the US with the support of an aggressive retail marketing program. The marketing program, which includes point-of-sale displays as wooden bar signs and table tent, aims to attract young consumers classified under the Generation X. The bourbon whiskey, launched under the slogan "If you can't run with the rooster, stay in the henhouse," is available in trial bottle size of 50 ml. The floor display that mimics a chicken coop with chicken wire, wood sides and a slanted roof could carry at least 12 cases of the bourbon.
