Bankers' bills and how to pay them

Article Abstract:

Remuneration practices between corporations and banks are different depending on what transactions occur and how a bank conducts business. Payments are delineated in the form of specific transaction charges, but there are often hidden costs in the areas of cash receipts and payments. Increasingly, companies are negotiating a reduction of hidden charges while agreeing to pay specific transaction costs. Companies pricing their bank services must plan their banking needs in advance in order to negotiate the best company-bank financial relationship. Agreements on remuneration for particular transactions should be simple and clear with all costs transparent at the time of transaction.
