Ground control for insect pests

Article Abstract:

The genome of the insect pathogen Pseudomonas entomophila is reported and is compared to it to the genomes of other pseudomonads with different lifestyles. Their analysis reveals a host of insecticidal toxins, proteases, putative hemolysins and components of the machinery that makes hydrogen cyanide.
