Growth stocks are out of fashion but watch for the swing back

Article Abstract:

There has been a move toward cyclical stocks and away from growth stocks, and it is unclear how long this will last. The global business cycle is not easy to analyze, and low interest rates may not necessarily bring recovery. If they do not, cyclical stocks may have become fashionable too early in the cycle. United Kingdom interest rates may be cut, but this may not necessarily help UK cyclical stocks since markets may move toward utilities and assume that the economy is performing worse than expected.
