Harlot's Ghost jacket design

The jacket design made by Conde Nast Publications Inc designers Rochelle Udell and Wynn Dan for Norman Mailer's 'Harlot's Ghost' won a gold award in the packaging category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The book title and author's name are in the same oversized type and style and are superimposed on a pattern of miniature CIA logos. The design makes a simultaneous blunt message about the theme of the novel and the literary superstar status of the novel's author.
