Have IFRSs conquered the world?

Article Abstract:

Learning International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) is a chore to the accountants in the UK, which once mastered means of knowing the rules of British accounting, as well as rules throughout the world. IFRS seem to have conquered the two parts of the world to which the UK has the greatest political attachment, the EU and the Commonwealth.
