Health Choice runs first-of-its kind frequent flyer promotion

Article Abstract:

Healthy Choice is offering free air miles with the purchase of Health Choice products, with the backing of partnerships with major airlines United, American, Delta, TWA, Northwest and USAir. The promotional effort, entitled "FreeMiles", is designed to reward loyal Healthy Choice customers. The initiative, which is supported by an in-store POS, a national FSI drop and merchandising tie-in efforts, is also designed to attract new consumers to the brand by appealing to business and leisure travelers who are enrolled in frequent flyer programs.

WebTV runs integrated marketing program

Article Abstract:

WebTV Networks said that HALO Industries. UPSHOT Div has introduced an integrated marketing campaign for WebTV. The campaign will launch WebTV capabilities to adults 55 years and older and their children and will offer new customers six months of free service. By means of television, WebTV enables users to access the Internet and e-mail services in their homes. Some parts of the campaign include Experiential 'Living Rooms' which will be produced in major airports and shopping centers throughout the US.

Ahold runs global supermarket promo

Article Abstract:

Royal Ahold is launching a promotion on a global scale for the first time. The promotion, which comes under the 'World Champions' banner, provides price discounts to its 30 million customers in 17 countries throughout the world. Participating in the promotion are the international food retailer's 4,000 stores in Latin America, Asia, Europe and the US as well as its supermarket chains in the US.
