Planting some second thoughts: Hewlett-Packard asks computer-systems buyers to look beyond the obvious

Article Abstract:

Hewlett-Packard Co recently came out with a new advertisement featuring the overused image of Gustave Rodin's 'The Thinker'. The advertisement asks buyers to consider and weigh choices carefully before selecting a computer system. Hewlett's print advertisement was made by Saatchi Pacific/San Francisco. Although the advertisement is phrased nicely, its 'think again' headline has already become too familiar.
