Lifetime station identifiers

Article Abstract:

Lifetime Cable Television Network's station identifiers won a gold award in the graphics category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The on-air identifiers consist of eight spots lasting from five to ten seconds. The focus on a woman's face and the simple configuration of the Lifetime's logotype were described as powerful and briliantly conceived. The effectiveness of the station identifiers was remarkable considering that they only made use of simple superimposition of various images.
