Article Abstract:
The Caribbean region is not severely affected by the routine hurricanes and severe tropical storms that would devastate other areas. Industry analysts attribute this to three factors. These are the predictability of severe weather in the region, the preparedness of the businesses in the region in dealing with calamities, and the relatively large area of the Caribbean region encompassing 700 islands from Aruba to Virgin Islands.
