How to handle a change at the top

Article Abstract:

The dynamics in the marketing department can be significantly altered when a new director is promoted. To ensure a successful transition, both the director and the staff should follow certain guidelines. The director can issue a strong mission statement, maintain current campaigns until they can be replaced with another, and communicate with the advertising agencies to erase their uncertainties. Employees can provide the new director with complete information and avoid criticizing their previous boss.

Back to basics

Article Abstract:

Thermwood has relinquished its customization approach and has returned to a standardized product approach.
