Hungary: a country that knows where it is going

The number of slot machines in Hungary has steadily grown since 1995 when legislation permitted the operation of slot machines in cafes, bars, and restaurants, under certain restrictions. Marta Sibinger, President of The Gaming Board for Hungary, reports a 47% increase in the number of amusement machines in the country.

Gambling Review Body releases its plans

Article Abstract:

In the Gambling Review Report, the Gambling Review Board recommends the elimination of amusement with prizes and gambling machines from unlicensed locations. It also seeks to restrict children under age 18 from playing machines with a bet of more than ten pence and a five pounds sterling win.
