Integrating human factors with the Jackson System Development method: an illustrated overview

Article Abstract:

A proposal was presented to integrate human factors in the Jackson System Development method (JSD). The proposal was made in line with previous studies on the integration of human factors with system analysis and design methods. The integration of human factors was meant to offset the undesirable effects caused by considering human factors only in the evaluation stage of system development. Research and development of the JSD from its conception to integration is planned as a structures method composed of software engineering and human factors coomponents.
