Internet ignites new magazines

Article Abstract:

High-tech print advertising posted $2.17 billion in revenues in 1995, although the year was not considered particularly good for high-tech advertising. Ziff-Davis Publishing Co., CMP Publications Inc. and International Data Group led the pack, with Ziff-Davis increasing its ad pages by 10.4%, CMP's rose by 9.59% while International had an increase of 6.4%. With an anticipated increase in magazine publishing, particularly those which cater to the Internet or networking area, 1996 is expected to become an even better year than 1995.
