International coordination in the era of faster, better, cheaper

Article Abstract:

Government space agencies can sustain international partnerships in space exploration with better strategic planning, enhanced communication and systematic missions. This entails scrutinizing how modifications in space programs affect cooperative initiatives. Governments should also be aware of the need to partake in the financial requirements of earth monitoring missions since the impact of such missions is global in proportion.

Forecasting the next major thrust into space

Article Abstract:

The 56-year energy-use cycle theorized by Swiss hysicist Theodore Modis is extrapolated to predict future activity in space exploration. The decade 2015-20225 should be a period of large-scale operations in space, as were the 1960s. Space tourism, exploration and industrialization are predicted. Historic trends of the last 200 years are examined in the context of Modis cycle.
