Investing in floating assets

Article Abstract:

Some shipowners are testing bond offerings as a source of long-term financing for ships. On such offering, guaranteed fixed-rate notes offered by Humpuss Funding Corp, is evaluated. The $150 million offering consists of 13-year bonds that have a 7.72% coupon rate. The notes are guaranteed by Cometco Shipping and were rated Baa2 by Moody's Investor Service.
