Is your organization addicted to change?

Article Abstract:

Corporate reorganization activities are geared towards efficiency and sustainability. However, constant change causes less focus on sustainability due to the lack of measures showing that it is a short-term focus of the effort. An analysis of a mental model reveals that reorganization only results in a quick-fix remedy and its effects may not last overtime which leads to less stability. In implementing organizational change, management should therefore take accountability and sustainability into consideration.
