Keys: Transformation, tight budgets tied together

Article Abstract:

Gen. Ronald Keys, commander of the Air Combat Command (ACC) state that the Air Force needs to pursue a course of transformation, both in its operations and in its acquisitions so as to become an expeditionary force capable to responding to the military challenges ahead. The need to build an expeditionary force with speed and agility, the ability of forces to move quickly to a battlefront as the key to success at the wars.

Air force faces bleak budgets over many years

Article Abstract:

Air Force deputy chief of staff for air and space operations, Lt. Gen. Ronald Keys, said that the Air Force budget is tight and the Air Force will need to develop a balanced portfolio since it does not have enough of anything it needs. Keys believes that the Air Force will need to balance capability and capacity.

Wynne: QDR will advance Air Force agenda

Article Abstract:

Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne stated that the 2005 Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR) would help the Air Force enjoy asymmetrical dominance of the skies. The QDR will support the Air Force's need for fleet modernization in spite of budget pressures.
