Leih likes to team with media sales reps for best results

Article Abstract:

Kerker Marketing Communications Exec VP-Media Services Dir Laurin Leih is convinced that working with media sales reps has served as an inspiration for him. Accordingly, the challenges presented by his job include the changing conditions, development of new markets and new product introductions. The biggest challenge presented to him in 1996 was the global positioning for chemical manufacturer Dyneon, a joint venture of Hoechst Marion Roussel and 3M Co. He attributes the positive results of the advertising campaign to strong creative and media.

Analytical Valan shoots for the stars

Article Abstract:

Charles Valan, McCann-Erickson Worldwide's Media Supervisor, believes that media buying involves aiming high and settling for the plan that works and can be executed. Valan received the Best and Brightest Award with Scott Steiner, his supervisor and his teammate in the AT&T Business Marketing Division account. Valan began his career in media buying through the instigation of his mother and sister who convinced him that his creative and analytical abilities will find fulfillment in the media buying industry.
