Rotch aims to develop the biggest portfolio in the United Kingdom of residential ground rents. The company is advertising an offer to purchase ground rents or refinance them using 95% loans. The cashfow from these portfolios is suited to securitization. Rotch has a JV called Estates and Management with Hambro Countrywide, which will manage portfolios of ground rents. The portfolios bring details of homeowners which is a valuable database for selling a variety of services.

Forex dealers target UK investors from abroad

Article Abstract:

The UK Securities and Investments Board (SIB) has sought to exercise stricter controls over foreign exchange brokers, following problems related to high commissions and losses suffered by investors. Some of these brokers have since moved out of the UK in order to escape controls, but are still seeking clients among UK investors. Investors can verify that brokers are authorized by contacting the UK Securities and Futures Authority.
