Lockheed gains $175 million contract, scores on missile test

Article Abstract:

Lockheed Martin Corp. signed a $175 million contract with Office Naval Research that aims for expendable supersonic vehicles and reported that one of its systems scored six hits in six missiles launches by British forces. In the contract award, Lockheed received a Revolutionary Approach to Time-critical Long Range Strike (RATTLRS) phase-two contract award from the Office of Naval Research.

Navy clears MH-60R for full rate production

Article Abstract:

The MH-60R (Romeo) helicopter was cleared by the Navy for full-rate production. It is reported that the MH-60R would have a wide range of capabilities for its many type of missions including an enemy submarine hunter and surface attack asset, and a missile launcher.
