Lockheed not currently poised to bid for tanker program
Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin Corp. is currently not preparing a proposal for the Air Force aerial refueling tanker aircraft program. The main reason for not bidding is that the Congress has not issued a clear command for the rebidding of the tanker acquisition program and its plan to acquire 100 KC-767 tanker aircraft from Boeing Co. is caught-up in controversy.
