London and Edinburgh hopes to fulfil its promise

Article Abstract:

London and Edinburgh Publishing (LEP) joined the United Kingdom Alternative Investment Market in 1996 and has suffered bad debt problems. The company's management has been changed, and it has made a number of acquisitions, and has become more attractive to investors. Acquisitions include Woodgate, a publishing fulfilment company, and the Executive Golf Club (EGC). LEP could achieve a profit of 800,000 pounds sterling for 1999, and this could be higher if EGC makes a large contribution.
