MSI's Outreach Service Center provides consulting and implementation of community, media and government relations services. The firm's Training Services Center provides development and implementation of training services including instruction in media spokesperson, crisis communications as well as presentation skills. The Creative Services Center develops collateral materials including video and audiotape programs, writing of standard speeches, and corporate meeting broadcasts, brochures, slides as well as advertisements.

IPG wants to control communs. channels

Article Abstract:

Interpublic Group of Companies Inc (IPG) intends to have control of as many communication channels as possible. The company's strategy, according to Chmn Philip Geier at the public relations (PR) firm's annual meeting in New York on May 22, 2000, is evident in the recent purchase of both Cassidy Cos and NFO Worldwide. IPG, whose communications business unit now contributes half of total revenues, claims to be the US' biggest PR firm.
