Article Abstract:

The principle of whether the zero-rate for the sale of caravans can cover the moveable contents as a single supply for a single consideration at one rate of value added tax (VAT) was studied by the advocate general in the case of Talacre Beach Caravan Sales. He viewed the entire caravan and contents having no single zero-rated supply, but a separation between the sale of the caravan as a unit and separate taxable supplies of the moveable contents.
