Face values

Article Abstract:

The global custody industry is seeing changes in demand for the types of services on offer, and companies are seeking to add value through additional services rather than compete on price. Price pressure has affected the basic services of transaction processing and safekeeping of stock. Spending on technology has also risen. Trustworthiness is one asset that companies can exploit. Custodians also face a challenge in designing flexible systems that can be adapted to the needs of different clients.
