NEBS places printing kiosks at retail locations

Article Abstract:

New England Business Service (NEBS), based in Groton, MA, is establishing one-stop interactive kiosks called the NEBS Custom Printing Station. The kiosks are systems that allows customers to design their own paper products including labels, forms, stationery, checks and business cards from a wide selection of designs. The electronic kiosks also accepts orders for NEBS, which is claimed to reduce incidence of reorders, save time and costs. NEBS also accepts credit card payments for orders made on the kiosks with guarantee of delivery within 72 hours.

Carpet One debuts Selectafloor system

Carpet One has unveiled the Selectafloor selling system for simplifying the purchase of floor coverings. The Selectafloor system groups the task of shopping for carpets into the Lifestyle, Product Promise and Color categories. Consumers are first directed to displays of one of six carpet styles, namely, Berber, Casual, Traditional, Formal, Trendsetters and Home & Office. Selectafloor also organizes Carpet One's portfolio to highlight the 11,000 colors available to suit consumers' preferences.

Nourison unveils interactive kiosks for dealers

Article Abstract:

Nourison has rolled out an interactive kiosk that allows consumers access to its online inventory of oriental rugs. The kiosk, developed in collaboration with First Wave, can be updated through phone lines so that the latest rug collections and styles are always featured. The device also automatically runs a customizable attract loop during periods of inactivity that allows dealers to display sales promotions, store hours or other information.
