Article Abstract:

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautical System, Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $9,400,000 not-to-exceed ceiling amount letter contract for the design, development and installation of improved bleed air ducts and overhead detection system kits on the KC/C 130F and TC-130G series aircraft. Work will be performed in Marietta, Ga. (70%), Cherry Point, N.C. (10%), El Toro, Calif. (10%) and Futenma, Okinawa, Japan (10%), and is expected to be completed in November 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-98-C-0112).

Article Abstract:

L3 Communications, Alpharetta, Ga., is being awarded a $10,869,828 firm-fixed-price contract for the manufacture of display panels for the ASA-82 system (pilot and co-pilot display) on the S-3B aircraft. Work will be performed in Alpharetta, Ga., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-C-022J).
