Jordan Company Inc., Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $20,188,466 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a F/A-18 flight simulator addition, training facility addition, and corrosion control hangar at Naval Air Station, Oceana, Virginia Beach, Va. Contrack International Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $14,640,921 firm-fixed-price contract, with a cumulative total of $16,199,370 if all options are exercised, for construction of a warehouse at the United States Army base in Doha. Work will be performed in Doha, Qatar, and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $20,732 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 20 bids solicited on Jan 26, 1998, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Winchester, Va. (DACA78-98-C-0014).
