Article Abstract:

Smartronix, Inc., California, Md., is being awarded a $29,024,317 indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee term services contract to provide management, technical, and engineering services in support of tactical and non-tactical information systems and various continuous acquisition and life-cycle support initiatives. This contract will provide an estimated level of effort of 165,005 man-hours of acquisition strategies, requirements analyses, design, development and engineering support, installation and integration efforts, test and evaluation, and operations and maintenance support. Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md. (75%); Quantico, Va. (10%); Chesapeake, Va. (10%); and Hopewell, Va. (5%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $3,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 159 proposals solicited and 13 offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Div., St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-99-D-1190).

CTA, Inc., Ridgecrest, Calif., is being awarded a $22,179,001 multiple award, cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, task order contract to provide combat environment simulation engineering services to support DoD test and training ranges. Work will be performed in Ridgecrest, Calif., and at government installations around the world, and is expected to be completed January 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $10,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet with five offers received. Award was made to three contractors and these contractors compete for each task order under the terms and conditions of the contract. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-99-D-0031).
