New group aims to highlight feats, problems of Iraq vets

Article Abstract:

The new group that consists of former Navy SEAL and Minnesota governor with the help of the Jesse Ventura aims to highlight the accomplishments and frustrations of veterans of the conflict in Iraq. This group aims to explain the realities of the operation in Iraq, a move to expose the preventable failures in leadership in the war and its aftermath and to hold all elected officials responsible for their actions in the months leading up to 2003 invasion of Iraq and the operations since.

Japanese firm busted for selling UAV to China

Article Abstract:

The Japanese firm, Yamaha Motor Co was raided by the police after it tried to sell a vertical takeoff of unmanned aerial vehicle (VTUAV) to China December 2005. Investigators from the Shizuoka and Fukuoka prefectural police raided the Yamaha offices, followed by civil moves by the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry, which leveled accusations that Yamaha violated an export law by illegally exporting some 10 VTUAVs.

Government secrecy rises and costs taxpayers billions, group charges

Article Abstract:

A new report from the coalition of nonprofit groups is charging that the rise in the government secrecy is costing taxpayers billions. The rise in the documentation runs against to recommendations by the commission investigating the 11 September 2001 attacks and the secrecy impends the government's ability to fight terrorists.
