New media ups Pro-Comm Awards; strong economy also boosts annual BMA contest

Article Abstract:

There has been an increase in the number of entries for the Business Marketing Assn's 1998 Pro-Comm Awards that recognized the best in business-to-business marketing communications. The increase is attributed to the growth of electronic and interactive media and the national economy. Companies and agencies are relying more on electronic and interactive tools as an alternative to print. This led to the improvement in the overall quality of the entries. Winners were selected based on categories such as corporate graphics, public relations and trade show exhibits.
