B&B, an Italian furniture manufacturer known for its elegant designs has recently acquired stake in a Dutch company that sells burnt furniture. This will give B&B, a 40 year old business that appeals to middle aged or older consumers, to reach pout to consumers in their twenties and thirties with their new and daring concepts and designs.

Rule Italia: The Milan furniture fair sets a fine example for taking design to the street

Article Abstract:

The Salone del Mobile is an international furniture fair, which takes over Milan for a week every April with 2000 exhibitors and two million feet of display space. The exhibits include Japanese or Dutch innovations, jewel-faceted polycarbonate chairs and squishy silicone lamps.

Petal Pushers: Satisfying a hunger for loveliness at the Milan furniture fair

Article Abstract:

The latest Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the annual furniture fair, was held on April 14-19, 2004. Salone offered a garden of earthly designs, products which had botanical motifs printed on it, woven, laser-cut or leather sculpted were also presented.
