Canadian golf enthusiast Mike Doucher has been an active volunteer of the Canadian Open since 1982. He finds the job as chairperson of the 1996 and 1998 Canadian Open as a medium to meet new acquaintances, who later become part of his business network. This year's tournament will be held at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville Ontario, with no less than known golfers like Tiger Woods and Steve Jones among others, joining the competition.
