Pearls before swine

Article Abstract:

Australian designer Susan Cohn's 'Cosmetic Manipulations' are gold jewelry to be worn on the face. However, their difference from conventional jewelry is their ability to amplify, instead of hide, the facial features that reveal the age of the person wearing them. This radical design is intended to challenge Western attitudes regarding age, beauty and vanity. It remains to be seen whether Cohn's jewelry, which would likely require brave people as customers, will succeed in the marketplace.

Nusimatists haven't been coining it

Article Abstract:

Coins attracted investors in the 1970s until the market collapsed and it has not offered investment opportunities for two decades. Serious collectors can accumulate a good investment but coins are not a way of achieving good investment returns. Some companies seek to attract novice investors with proposals, and they are best avoided, as are sets of new coins sold by the Royal Mint. Even very old coins issued prior to 1066 may not sell for much money.
