A prize for admittance

Article Abstract:

Culture cannot be ignored in economics since culture affects economic behavior. Economics should move away from mathematics and toward anthropology. The failure of economic predictions is illustrated by the problems of developing economies seeking to move toward a market economy. Conventional economics seeks to impose one solution at whatever cost. Awards should be given to scholars whose work reflects the real world and its cultural context.
