Proteus: mad cows to the rescue

Article Abstract:

Enfer Scientific has had a postmortem test for mad cow disease validated by the research wing of the Irish Department of Agriculture. The test uses technology from Proteus, which has seen a rise in its share price following the announcement. Proteus has made an agreement with Enfer which has global rights to the test and Proteus will receive a 12.5% share on each test's value. There could still be regulatory difficulties, and mad cow disease is declining in Europe.
