Raptor approaches key points in program

Article Abstract:

The F/A-22 Raptor made by the Lockheed Martin Corp. is entering initial operational test and evaluation, a key trial before it can enter full-rate production and is in low rate initial production. The officials at Lockheed argued that the Raptor is needed urgently and the program should proceed by explaining its benefits.

Air force, Lockheed dispute report of severe C-130J woes

Article Abstract:

The report by Thomas Christie, director of operational testing and evaluation states that the C130Js are afflicted with reliability problems and deficiencies. However, both the air force and Lockheed Martin Corp, sources say there is no credibility in the report and don't agree on some points.
