US shares: searching hard for the downside

Article Abstract:

The US stock market has seen high breakouts, which tend to be a bullish sign, inflation is subdued, and the economy is performing well. There is strong growth in the internet and technology sectors, where the US is the world leader. Investors who have faith in the growth of these sectors have to ask where they wish to purchase stocks. Macromedia has performed well in terms of its stock price, despite some profit taking, and in terms of earnings and sales. Disney is one stock that has dropped in price and then risen, and the company's quarterly earnings have been encouraging.
