Article Abstract:

Greenway is a recycler of waste oil which is sold to power stations through Orcol Fuels, its principle subsidiary. Demand for oil dropped when two power stations were run down by PowerGen prior to their being sold. This temporarily affected Orcol's sales and will hit Greenway's results for 1996 to 1997, though profits should improve for the following year. Panmure Gordon forecasts profits of 1.9 million pounds sterling for 1998 to 1998 compared with 600,000 for the previous year.

Shell Transport

Article Abstract:

Shell Transport is a UK oil producer, chemicals concern, and refiner, and saw an increase in net income for 2nd qtr 1995. The company has suffered from a boycott of its products over public relations problems, but operates in many countries world wide. This means that income losses in some countries can be offset by rises in others. Net income for full-year 1995 looks set to reach 4.8 billion pounds sterling compared to 4 billion pounds for 1994, according to Panmure Gordon.
