Special delivery

Article Abstract:

An identity change by way of shortening the company logo has done wonders for package delivery specialist Federal Express. The transformation includes redesigned uniforms, equipment and even drop-boxes. In keeping with its reputation as a leader in the just-in-time economy, it has on-line services that let customers track their packages. Billing itself as an information company, it has moved up to taking over other companies' logistics functions like shipping and warehousing.
