Article Abstract:

The technique of switching domains within the constant regions of those of various antibody isotopes to improve the activities of two agonist antibodies specific for the thrombopoietin receptor (c-MPL) is described. The empirical outcomes highlight the significance of the hinge area in modulating agonist activity and the whole-IgG agonists for the c-MPL give an alternative for treatment of chronic thrombocytopenia.
