TPI Enterprises, Inc

Article Abstract:

Perry and Lee Bass increased their TPI Enterprises Inc holdings to more than 1.4 million shares. The restaurateur reached a record high of 8 5/8, a 70% rise from its 52-week low, after it posted a $2.1 million earning increase for the nine months ended Sep 1992. The Bass family's optimism about the stock might have been prompted by a deal made with franchisor Shoney's Inc. TPI does not provide any dividend on the 18.1 million shares of which 52% is held by institutions.
