Taking the initiative

Article Abstract:

The corporate finance industry of north west England has seen a busy market for the two years to 1997. Companies in the sector argue that lessons were learnt in the late 1980s but there is still concern that quality thresholds could drop. Venture capitalists see more money and fewer deals. Manchester accounts for much of the activity and Liverpool ranks second in importance in corporate finance market of the region. Companies operating in the region include Arthur Andersen and Wise Speke.
