Tasty toothpastes and sensitive brushes

Article Abstract:

A number of new toothpastes and toothbrushes are hitting the market. For example, Procter and Gamble is testing a new toothpaste called Sparkle Crest. The product, aimed at children, comes in Hawaiian Punch or Orange Bubblefun flavors. Other products include Carewell Industries Inc's Dentax Kids line of toothbrushes; Johnson and Johnson Consumer Products Inc's glow in the dark Reach Toothbrush; Colgate-Palmolive Co's Colgate Baking Soda Toothpaste; and Chesebrough-Pond's Metadent toothpaste, which combines baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.

The greening of cleaning

The International Housewares Show had an impressive array of environmentally sensitive household cleaners. One such product was Fresh & Natural Bathroom Cleaner, produced by Life Tree in Sebastopol, CA. This herbal cleaner combines Australian tea tree oil and French lavender oil to deodorize and clean simultaneously. Other products included Earth Wise Superior Cleaning Products, Odor-B-Gone, Lime-Out Bathroom & Kitchen Cleaner, Pik Up Stik, Sticky Critter, Peta Choice, Zap A Spot, and Carbona Touch & Go.
